Jul 28, 2020 · The isotopic signature of Late Neolithic NE cats suggests that they were free-living, not dependent on a human-produced food, and preyed upon synanthropic mice and voles (i.e., crop pests). The NE cats shared their isotopic niche with European wildcats although the native subspecies utilized a much broader niche than the NE cats did.
By looking at the mass spectrum, you can see the relative abundance of each of the isotopes. In the figure attached in the explanation (Source: Khan Academy), you can see that Zr-90 is slightly above 50% in abundance while Zr-91 is about 12% in abundance. By looking at the Y axis, you are able to determine the isotopic abundance of an element.
